Gyuto Vajrayana Center prefers not to request financial donations from students for dharma events in keeping with our Tibetan traditions. It is our belief that there should be no barrier to the dharma, and that all those interested should come freely and without financial consideration. However, maintaining the Center in the San Francisco Bay Area is expensive, and putting on events for our students is a considerable financial burden. Bringing qualified teachers and monks from the Gyuto Monastery in India is costly as well. With your help, we can continue bringing teachers and monks to our practitioners and maintaining this home for our resident monks who have travelled here to serve the Bay Area community. |
