Services for the Tibetan Community in the Bay Area PDF Print E-mail

The Gyuto Vajrayana Center and the Gyuto Monks offer a variety of services to the local Tibetan Community, such as:

  • Prayer Services at the Center as well as in private homes. 
  • Prayer Services/Pujas/Mantra Recitations at group events.
  • Spiritual/Religious Teachings and Dharma Talks on a regular basis.

The Gyuto Monks also help and support the Tibetan Community in more worldly matters, such as:

  • Monthly social gatherings with senior Tibetans.
  • Assistance to new immigrants and asylum seekers from Tibet, India and Nepal.
  • Translation services at court, consular errands and other official business for Tibetans who don't speak English.
  • Once the Monastery Project is finished, the Gyuto monks will also provide shelter and housing to new immigrants and asylum seekers from Tibet or India to facilitate their integration.
