  • Dug-shey-ser sum (Sitatapatra, Heart Sutra, and Lion-faced Dakini Ritual)
  • Sher-nying dun-dog (Ritual Recitation of "The Heart Sutra")

This ritual invokes the enlightening influence of three female Buddha-figures – Sitatapatra (the “Umbrella” Goddess), Prajnaparamita, and the Lion-faced Dakini (Simhamukha) – to help overcome obstacles and dangers, such as when undertaking a long journey.

English versions of the icon Cha Sum Puja  and the icon Heart Sutra Practice texts are available for download from our website.
